SPECIFICITY AND SPECIALTY Month of Ramadan

   1. Fasting the month of Ramadan is the fourth pillar of Islam. Word of the Almighty:
"O ye who believe, fasting is obligatory upon you as required above those before you, that ye fear Allah." (Al-Baqarah: 183).
Prophet r:
((بني الإسلام على خمس: شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدا رسول الله وإقام الصلاة وإيتاء الزكاة وصوم رمضان وحج البيت الحرام)) متفق عليه.
"Islam is built upon five joints, namely: no gods creed of truth but Allah and Muhammad is the apostle of Allah, establish the prayer and pay the zakat, fasting Ramadan and the pilgrimage to Bait-ul-haram." (Hadith muttafaq alaih).
Fasting is one of the important means to achieve piety, and one of the reasons to get the forgiveness of sins, the doubling of kindness, and the appointment of degrees. Allah has made fasting specifically for Himself from among other deeds of worship. Allah says in the hadith reported from the Prophet r:
"Fasting is for Me and I immediately responded. People who fast get two pleasures, the pleasure of breaking the fast and pleasure when met with his Lord. Indeed, the smell of the mouth of the fasting is more fragrant than the fragrance kasturi. "(Hadith muttafaq alaih).
And the words of the Prophet r:
((من صام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه)) متفق عليه.
"Whoever fasted Ramadan because of faith and hope for reward from Allah, his sins are forgiven past." (Hadith muttafaq alaih).
Then to obtain forgiveness with Ramadan fasting, there should be the following two conditions:

   1. Believing correctly will this obligation.
   2. Therefore expect reward with Allah ta'ala.
   3. In the month of Ramadan the Qur'an revealed as guidance for mankind and contains references to guidance and distinguishing between the Truth and falsehood.
   4. In this disunnahkan tarawih prayers, the night prayers during Ramadan, to follow the footsteps of the Prophet r, the Companions and caliphs khulafa'ur. Prophet r:
((من قام رمضان إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه)) متفق عليه.
"Whoever established prayers on the night of Ramadan because of faith and hope for reward from Allah, his sins are forgiven past." (Hadith muttafaq alaih).

   1. Contained in the Lailatul Qadr (night noble), the night that is better than a thousand months, or equal to 83 years and 4 months. Night in which the gates of heaven were opened, the prayer was granted, and the fate of all that happened in the year specified. Prophet r:
((من قام ليلة القدر إيمانا واحتسابا غفر له ما تقدم من ذنبه)) متفق عليه.
"Whoever established prayers on the night of Qadr Tatyana because faith and hope for reward from Allah, his sins are forgiven past." (Hadith muttafaq alaih).
Tonight there at ten last night, and is expected in the odd nights are stronger than other nights. Therefore, a Muslim should always expect the grace of God and fear of punishment. Take advantage of opportunities on the nights it was so earnestly on every night of the tenth night with; prayer, reciting Qur'anul karim, dhikr, prayer, forgiveness and repentance in truth. May Allah accept our deeds, forgive, have mercy and grant our prayers.

   1. This month the major events, namely the battle of Badr, which was the next day God distinguish between the Truth and falsehood, so that the victorious Islam and the Muslims and shattering shirk and mushrikeen.
   2. This happened during the holy month Makkah Al Mukarramah liberation of the city, and God won His Messenger. So the man go into the religion of Allah in droves and destroy a Prophet of shirk and paganism are there in the city of Mecca, and Mecca became Muslim country.
   3. This month the gates of Paradise are opened and the gates of Hell are closed and the devils tied.
How many blessings and goodness contained in the month of Ramadan. Then we shall take advantage of this opportunity to repent to God with faith and do good deeds. May we be among those who received charity and luck.
Keep in mind that there are some people, may God give him a clue-maybe fast but do not pray, or just prayers during Ramadan alone. People like this are not useful to him; fasting, Hajj, and Zakat. Because prayer is the cornerstone of Islam that he can not except him upright. Prophet r:
((أتاني جبريل فقال: يا محمد, من أدرك رمضان فخرج ولم يغفر له, فمات فدخل النار, فأبعده الله, قل: آمين, فقلت: آمين)) رواه ابن خزيمة وابن حبان في صحيحه.
"Jibril came to me and said: O Muhammad, who met during Ramadan, but after a month was gone and he did not get a pardon, so if he dies he is going to hell. May Allah keep him away. Say amen, I say: Amen. "(Narrated by Ibn Hibban and Ibn Khuzaimah in shahihnya) ([1]).
Then it should be time-time in the month of Ramadhan is used for a variety of good deeds, such as: prayer, charity, reading the Qur'an, remembrance, prayer and forgiveness. Ramadan is an opportunity to grow for the servants of God, to cleanse their hearts of damage.
Also required to keep the limbs from all sins, such as saying that haram, haram see, hear unclean, unclean drinking and eating; in order to be clean and acceptable fasting and the fasting person obtaining forgiveness and freedom from hellfire.
About the virtues of Ramadan, the Prophet r said:
((رأيت رجلا من أمتي يلهث عطشا, فجاءه صيام شهر رمضان فسقاه وأرواه)) رواه الحاكم والترمذي والديلمي والطبراني في الكبير, وهو حديث حسن.
"I saw a man from my Ummah panting thirst, then the fasting month of Ramadan came to him and gave him to drink until you are full." (Narrated by Al Hakim, At Turmudzi, Ad Dailami and Thabrani At the Al-Mu `jam Al-Kabir and hadith hasan).
((الصلوات الخمس والجمعة إلى الجمعة ورمضان إلى رمضان مكفرات لما بينهن إذا اجتنبت الكبائر)) رواه مسلم.
"Prayer five times a day, Friday prayer to another Friday prayers and Ramadan to the next Ramadan wash away the sins committed in between if the sins of the left." (Narrated by Muslim).
So things are fard can eliminate minor sins, provided major sins left. Major sins are: act punishable by torture in the world and in the hereafter. For example: adultery, stealing, drinking wine, deriding both parents, decided kinship, transactions with usury, taking risywah (bribes), false witness, to decide the case in addition to the law of God.
If there were in the month of Ramadan virtues than its presence as one of the obligatory in Islam, and the time of the revelation of Al Qur'anul Karim, as well as the Laylat al-Qadr is a night better than a thousand months-in it, surely that's enough . May Allah bestow His taufik ([2]).
